The Parish Pastoral Council (PPC), enhances communication, coordination and collaboration in the parish of diverse activities, programs and traditions. The PPC serves as a liaison among many activities and groups in the parish to vitalize the faith and communal growth.
The PPC works through five main avenues:
1. PPC stays in touch by constantly researching the needs, ideas, and hopes of the faith community.
2. PPC proactively encourages and supports the existing ministries.
3. PPC evaluates the “quality of life” to assure that programs and services are relevant.
4. PPC plans for our parish future by recommending policies, procedures and programs to fulfill our Church’s mission and the needs of the parish community.
5. PPC engages in recommendations for the wider Church, through its’ connection with the Archdiocesan Pastoral Council , and strives to implement its’ directives. |

At Immaculate Conception, the PPC coordinates, under the direction of the pastor, the many programs and services of the parish through four “Commissions.” The Commissions organize dozens of faith groups, clubs, activities, and programs that function within the parish. This brochure shows the four Commissions as: Spiritual Life, Human Concerns, Education, and Parish Life. PPC members oversee each of these Commissions in order to have a direct line of communication with the activities in the parish, in order that there be unity and benefit to our parishioners.
How can you participate in the work of the PPC?
